Scup (Stenotomus chrysops)

Characteristics

Scup are a silvery and darker colored fish. They have a few longitudinal stripes going along their bodies. Scup are found inshore up and down the east coast where they migrate between the north and south. Scup are an excellent eating fish as they have a sweet, light and very mild flavor.

Seasonality

We currently are able to fish for Scup from May to September. We are able to provide Scup year round. 

Packaging

We currently are able to pack scup graded as 150-300 grams, or 200-400 grams. They come packed in a 44.10/Lbs flat. They are food grade.
